Meet the Conner Clinic Staff
Dr. Will Conner, MD
A native to Charlotte, he graduated from the Medical School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996.
He completed his residency in Asheville and then spent 2 years in a community health clinic in eastern North Carolina treating migrant farm workers. He has spent time practicing medicine in Africa, Haiti, Guatemala, and other remote areas. For more information about Dr. Conner’s Peace Corps Days, click here.
Dr. Conner is fluent in English, French and Spanish. His goal is to use his experience to provide affordable and compassionate care to all patients. When he is not giving patient care, he loves spending time with his wife and three children.
Dr. Conner worked to create a caring and diversified staff, ready to meet your needs.

Lusina Ambartsumyan, CMA
A native of Moscow, Russia, Lusina was a practicing general surgeon for five years before moving to the United States in 2009.
As she works to become a practicing doctor in the United States, she maintains her skills here at Conner Family Health Clinic.
Lusina became a member of our team in the fall of 2013 and works with us full time as a Medical Assistant.
Her heart is in giving quality patient care and our patients have loved her since day one!
Tara Hooper, RN, BSN
Tara Hooper is a graduate from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Over a career of 25 years, Tara has worked as a traveling nurse, ICU nurse, and open heart surgery recovery nurse. She also obtained certifications in critical care nursing. In addition to nursing, for the past 6 years Tara has worked as a health coach.
She joined Conner Clinic in January 2015 and has been instrumental in transitioning Dr. Conner’s practice with Hallmark Physician Group.
She loves to exercise, eat healthy and has a passion for helping others achieve a healthier lifestyle.
Born in Colombia, South America. Camilo is married, and parents a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel pup named Jeter.
He loves to play football and basketball.
His passion is Criminal Justice and he plans one day to pursue a career in law enforcement.
His life goal is to love on and help as many people as he can.
Emma graduated from Queens University of Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Services. She joined Conner Clinic as the receptionist in May 2015.
She is currently pursuing a certification as a Nursing Assistant at Serenity Nurse Aide Academy.
In 2016, Emma will be attending South Charlotte Community College in the Medical Sonography program. When Emma isn’t working at Conner Clinic, she is spending quality time with her family and pets.
