Healthy Heart Plus Panel ( Lipomed (NMR), CBC, CMP, C-Reactive Protein, Homocystine)
The NMR LipoProfile test is a blood test that helps to identify patients at risk for lipid-related CHD by measuring both the number of LDL particles (LDL-P) and standard lipids. The hs-CRP test is used in assessing the relative cardiovascular risk. Levels less than 1.00mg/L are considered Low Risk. Levels from 1.00-3.00 mg/L are considered Average Risk. Levels > 3.00 mg/L are considered High Risk for cardiovascular disease. Homocysteine is an amino acid that is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease when elevated.
